The Dais, Juncus, Pittosporum and Polygala have been illustrated in May's issue of 'The Gardener'. Hot tip: Readers may request them from you in the coming month.

Dais continifolia

This particular tree is covered in pretty pink pom-pom flowers in summer and it is perfect for small gardens.

Juncus effusus

This attractive member of the rush family closely resembles reeds and sedges and is a must for wet areas, like ponds, seeps and wetlands.

Pittosporum viridiflorum

This handsome tree has glossy leaves, scented attractive flowers and reddish fruits, a must for bird gardens.

Tecomas!

This is the ideal time to grab cut-price Tecomas - and remember what super hedges they make - so why not get them in bulk now? With the wet season upon us, this is a great time to establish mass-plantings in the Western Cape!

Euryops pectinatus and Euryops 'Sunshine Classic'

These drought and cold tolerant indigenous daisies are full of cheerful yellow flowers. They're also on offer at a discounted price. 'Sunshine Classic' has fine, green foliage, and E.pectinatus is the old favorite with silvery leaves.

Plectranthus 'Mona Lavender'

Just look at the haze of blue flowers covering these strictly-for-shade Plectranthus. I love the speckled throats of the florets: they make me wish I was a bee!

Use this Plectranthus in DEEP shade or even as a house-plant. Get these on special this week!

Plumbago 'Cape Dark Blue'

You won't believe how stunning our big, full 10kg Plumbagos are! What's more, they're also available at a reduced price this week.
